It was God’s idea for us to be free, to walk in
liberty.
God does not force Himself on us, nor does He force
us to accept His Free gift of salvation.
He wants us to experience an abundant life free of Oppression.
Following are a few of the scriptures that speak of liberty.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [for me].
2 Corinthians3:17
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He had anointed Me
…to set at liberty those who are bruised.”
Luke 4:18
If the Son shall make me free, I shall be free indeed.
John 8:36
I will walk at liberty, for I seek Your precepts.
Psalm 119:45
“Stand fast in the liberty with which Christ has made us free,
and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
Galatians 5:3
[If I] look into the perfect law of liberty and continue in it, I,
being not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, shall be blessed in my
deed.
James 1:25
I have been called to liberty, only I am not to use liberty for an occasion
to indulge the flesh, but by love I am to serve others.
Galatians 5:13
